The Foundation's Executive Committee is comprised of the Chair, Chair-Elect, Past-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. Some of the Foundation's tasks do not have to be handled by the entire Board and this body handles that part of the business items.

The Fundaraising Committee takes the lead role in the Foundation's fundraising ventures.

The Foundation is proud of its members, its projects, and its community and we want people to know what exciting events are happening here in Mount Holly. So the Foundation will publish this newsletter every quarter. Note our events calendar, and browse the committee updates. Newsletter Summer 2008

The mission of the Downtown Revitalization and Historic Committee is to design, develop and promote our downtown as the business, cultural and social center of Mount Holly.  Throughout its work and deliberations, this committee will apply the Foundation’s three driving values: strong city image, quality of life and economic development.

It is hard to believe that half of 2008 is over.  We have accomplished some projects and goals so far but have a lot yet to do.  

Here is what we have been up to:

The FROGS (aka The Mount Holly Friends of the Greenways) keep on hopping.

Join us to for a the Public Workshop to discuss the Linear Park, June 17, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

The Linear Park will connect the new Citizen’s Center to Downtown Mount Holly and the Catawba River with a wide walkway and landscaping treatments.

Drop in anytime between 6:30 and 8:00 PM to learn about (and provide input on) the latest design alternatives for the linear park.

The business of the Foundation's Economic Development Committee (EDC) is business. Pursuing goals we set for 2008, the EDC showcases Mount Holly business, bringing business and community leaders together to discuss topics of interest to our community.
